About Me

My photo
I try to embrace life, i love people and i love life. Through my work I aim to help break apart the ‘illusion of separation’, to challenge the viewer to question, and evolve out of ignorance, conditioning and ingrained genetic habits. In life I strive to take responsibility for the effect of my existence, and through my actions and images, inspire others to think/dream beyond their immediate capacity. Ultimately I seek to create portals that open to the infinite possibilities of being and expressing, so that we may remember and re-discover who we are, where we originate from and where we are headed. My aspiration is to paint messages, visions and narratives that communicate with an ‘older & wiser us’, awakening ancient memory; as well as the ‘present us’, that we may grow up and accept the responsibilities towards ourselves, each other and the rest of existence on this planet… Kimberley

A house made with ones own hands

I've been thinking for a while now how devine it would be to one day build a house with my own hands with the people i love. I love the idea of living in nature in a house that is enviromentally friendly. I found these pictures arnt they pretty :). I would have a organic garden filled with a variety of mother natures treats that i could make wonderful yummy organic food out of. I would have friends around and we would play guitar on the wooden varander looking out into the green forrest, we would laugh with joy in the fresh air. I would have a library of all my favourite books each with a tale of where i got it or what it has taught me so i could sit with my children in the house i build with love and tell them tales till they fall asleep. A studio placed facing the sun with lots of loft style windows that would be warm sheltered but so i could smell the fresh forrest air.
I will hopefully find a man by time in my life so we could share it together and raise our children there and grow old in the house we built. Oww and sunflowers yes sunflowers :)
